About Us

Collin’s Kids- The David Bennett Foundation is a nonprofit organization established in the memory of Collin Rabon.  Collin was a Conway native who passed away in April of 2006, in a tragic accident.  He was a “unique creature” who loved people and wanted everyone to be treated equally.  He loved all things sports, especially baseball.   After Collin’s passing, Coach David Bennett, his late wife Mel, Robyn Bost and Steve Rabon, Collin’s parents, agreed to establish the foundation.

The mission for Collin’s Kids is to allow the memory of Collin Rabon to continually bless kids of Horry County with opportunities for life enriching experiences that might not otherwise be available. To help us successfully achieve our mission, each spring the organization hosts a golf tournament to raise funds to support, serve and help the children of Horry County.  Each year, our goal is to do more – more for the children of our community and more to honor Collin.
